FEEDBACK

Week 8
Feedback: Improve on the S with its spine.

Week 9
    Feedback: Smooth out the curves in the O , S , D , G , C

Week 10
Feedback : Thinner the middle of the N

REFLECTION

Experience

Overall for this task was challenging because I've never created font before and learning the detail of the curves and the stem etc.

Observation

I decided to produce a thin and tall font because I imagine when someone use my font to be functional between in a sentence to deliver information and as a graphic. I've learned a lot about descender, ascender, baseline etc. Therefor it helps me with a neat looking font.

Findings

I've notice that I will have to keep editing/ playing around with the fonts in order to get what I want to achieve. If I stop then my I will start to procrastinate.

FURTHER READING
Typography Basics

This book is similar to "A type primer" where is basically guide anyone the basics of typography. This shows the fonts, fonts style, font families etc. Especially kerning, tracking and word letter spacing.

This book also helps me in some way because the explanation is straightforward and it has visuals to show examples of that particular context.
