LECTURES
Week 5 - 27/10/2023
Week 5, We were given feedback for our attempt on text layout design, there are few spots that we needed to improve. Images that we all put wasn't related to the information so therefore, we changed. And at the end of class, Mr. Vinod brief us about creating at thumbnail/cover for our previous task in week 4.

Week 6 - 31/10/2023
This week is where we improve our Editorial layout from the feedback he given from week 5, and learn how to export them to our E-portfolio.

REFLECTION

Experience

This task was a little bit hard because I have to find a creative way to come up with a text layout design by understanding/relating to the meaning of the title. I wasn't sort of happy with my current task because its very plain but easy to understand for everyone.


Observation

For this task I notice that I need to understand the title deeply in order to express the font. Need to ask for others opinions so therefore I won't make a mistake or a plain work.


Findings

Sometimes, designs doesn't have to be very extra , minimalist is already enough

Just my type
This book is about fonts. It explores at the way Comic Sans and Helvetica became widely used and how a font can make a person seem such a way, such as masculine, feminine, American, British, German or Jewish.

This book is kind of interesting because I get to learn how font can express the emotions or make someone in such ways. There's picture which also helps me to understand the situation better.
