PROCESS

MIRO BOARD PLANNINGS

fig 1.0 miro board plannings

This is our miro board where we compile all the reference, inspiration and storyboard before creating our video.

This is our storyboard in order to make our video

fig 1.2 AE process (ANIMATION LAYER)

fig 1.3 AE process (SOUND LAYER)

This is my animation process. I am using Adobe After Effect because this is what I'm comfortable to use when making animation. Each layer represent the shapes and text that I used to produce an animation.

FINAL

I'm quite satisfied in the end even though I can still do better if I more time
and motivation to edit.

REFLECTION

Experience

The experience of creating this was both stressful and interesting. The challenging part was researching the topic, as it’s broad and requires careful selection of accurate information. We had to be precise in gathering details to ensure credibility. Additionally, working on the video was demanding, especially since I pushed my limits in motion graphics. Staying up late to perfect every detail was exhausting, but it also pushed me to improve my skills and explore new creative possibilities.

Observation

While working on this project, I not only gained a deeper understanding of the topic but also discovered new sources of inspiration from other motion graphic editors. Observing their techniques, particularly how they incorporate shapes and typography into animations, has expanded my perspective on design. This experience has pushed my creative boundaries, encouraging me to experiment with new editing styles and refine my motion graphic skills in ways I hadn’t explored before.

Findings

This project was both challenging and rewarding, pushing me beyond my limits in research and motion graphics. Despite the stress, it helped me refine my skills, explore new creative possibilities, and gain inspiration from experienced editors. Overall, this experience has broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to approach design with more confidence and creativity.
