For this task 3, we would have to produce an art to deliver a message as we have researched from the previous task. Use our USNDG research to support our artwork. We have to sketch 3 ideas and explain our thought process before producing into a final piece.


MOOD BOARD

I chose this as my inspiration because the price tag reminds me of when product are being sold. Relates to the children in child labor, shows how they are being send around just like they are a product benefits the company cost.

The contrast between both children shows how one is fortunate to have dreams and goal when the other half is forced to do work at the young age, and being punished. This colors and the equipment that they are holding already portrays the contrast between them.

Instead of the old guy, replace it with a child in the child labour as the main subject. Replacing the people walking to children running chasing their dreams n goals. This would create the emphasis to the main subject.




3 SKETCHES IDEAS

This relates to "fig 1.2". The design principles that this poster has is movement, emphasis, contrast and text n images. The reason why I want the child in the child labour to be the main subject is because I want it to emphasis on how far back that they are compare to other children that are fortunate to have dreams.

This relates to "fig 1.0". The design principles that this poster has is emphasis , text n images. The reason why decide to produce this idea is because the price tag relates to a price set on certain product for it to use. But I decide to indicates the price tag on these children in child labour to show that they are like a product to a company. Selling these children to cut companies cost etc.

This relates to "fig 1.1". The design principles that this poster has is emphasis, contrast and text n images. The reason why I want to make this is because it's simple and easy to understand of two children that are fortunate and not. The other side is the non fortunate as the other side. I let the color and the way they are dress to indicate a message.

Feedback:
Blend the receipt on the face with the child. Write the "final" essay 200 max words. Move the text from the poster a little bit lower.

As for my final, I chose UNSDG 8 as an idea for me to produce a poster for my final. Goal 8 is about promoting inclusive and sustain the economic growth, employment and decent work for all. I chose the opposite of a "of a decent work for all" because since there are a lot of unemployment, there's also people that are forced to worked in a company and punish when they are unsatisfied. Child labour is the biggest problem because its compound social inequality and discriminations. Instead of helping children to achieve their goals, company using them as to cut cost and easily to manipulate them.

Principle design that my poster have is Word & Image, contrast, emphasis and movement. The movement would would be the children running ahead with the motion blur. The contrast and emphasis would be the coloring, the main subject is the child with color compare to other. My final is about spreading awareness and showing that the main subject is far behind from any other child that heading to their goal. 

Reflections

    Overall this project it helps me to remember back all the principles design and I've learned some new principle that I've never heard before. As I was trying to find goal 8 poster, it was very difficult to find inspirations because its not as well known compare to other goals. This motivates me to produce a goal 8 poster since its not well known.

Week 6

    Combine sketch 2 and 1 together as my final piece. The price tag will needed to be include to indicate its a child from the child labour.


Week 7

    Blend the receipt on the face with the child. Write the "final" essay 200 max words. Move the text from the poster a little bit lower.
