INSTRUCTIONS

Week 1 ( Exercise 1 - Quantifiable Information)

We have to gather a set of object and separate it into a category such as color, shape, pattern, and other quantifiable factor. The items that I chose is bags of M&M. A milk chocolate, peanuts and crispy one.

I arranged the M&M in terms of their color and size, from the biggest to the smallest

I decide to make a radial map about the size and the color of the M&Ms. Labelling the size of the M&Ms from the biggest to the smallest. Using three different bags of M&Ms, Peanuts, crispy and milk chocolate.

Week 2 ( Exercise 2 - L.A.T.C.H THEORY INFOGRAPHIC)

In exercise 2, we have to collect a group of information into a visual poster that combines and utilizes the LATCH theory principles. With our graphic design skills, we were to use digital photo editing/ illustration software available to assemble the information into a LATCH infographic poster.

Requirements: Size resolution: 1240 × 1750 pixels or 2048 × 2048 pixels.

I decided to pick topic about "COLD" for this exercise. I listed out the information that I needed to include in my infographic poster. Writing down the stages of before the cold flu arrives. Categorized the time, symptoms, medicines and recovery.

L.A.T.C.H

    L ( Location): Our body
    A (Alphabet):
T (Time): The days the cold flu occur
C (Category): Stages of cold flu

Rough Sketch

This would be my rough idea of how my infographic will be presented. My initial thought was to make a anatomy type of poster so that it wont be too boring by just lay it out with just information. I want the audience to see the inside of our anatomy body when cold flu occur.

After receiving feedback from Mr. Shamsul, he mentioned that right align is not right and photo choices can be better by making them facing forward. The stages of the flu can be colored from less to more severe.
