I found this print shop in my area (Mont Kiara) that print anything and including student discount at the cheapest price. I manage to print my book by only spending RM35 including student discount. I printed my first book at 27/11/2024, then I realized I made a mistake on the format and lack of creativity in my table of content. Then I printed my second and final book on the  2/12/2024 which I am fully satisfied of how it looks.

REFLECTION

Experience

This is my first time printing a book about myself, and honestly, I thought it would be a complicated process. But it turned out to be a lot simpler than I expected as long as you take it step by step and stay organized. Seeing everything come together has been such a rewarding experience, and it’s made me realize that with the right approach, something that feels overwhelming at first can actually be straightforward and achievable.

Observation

Throughout the process, I realized how important it is to double-check everything because even a small mistake in a book can mean redoing the entire process from the start. This not only adds extra work but can also increase costs significantly, which might lead to wasted time and money. It’s a lesson in being thorough and careful, as catching errors early can save a lot of hassle later on.

Findings

I discovered that there are various types of book bindings, each adding a unique touch to the overall look and feel of the book. The right binding can make a book appear more professional and even luxurious, enhancing its appeal. It’s interesting how the choice of binding can also align with the story being presented, creating a design that complements the content and leaves a lasting impression.
