VIDEO AND SOUND PRODUCTION
INSTRUCTIONS
FINAL PROJECT
Students are required to produce stop motion video by a given
theme. Voice over, sound effects and music can be used, to tell a
compelling story. Confine to no more than 2 characters/ locations
and only 1 event in less than 15 shots.
1. Synopsis
Kai tells Emi that he had been cheating and while walking home, she finds a cat to share her sadness with.

This is before I added color correction layer. This is the raw footage of the stop motion

Color correction to make it dull and sad shot.

This is after I added gaussian blur after a moody scene to make it more glowing and comfort.

The green audio layer is the voice acting we did for the shoot.
The blue is mixed between the sound effect and music to create the mood for the video.
5. Final
REFLECTION
Experience
We attempt two ideas but turns out it was really difficult to create the stop motion, especially that our specialization is not animation. At the end we decide to change our story again because of the difficulty. We spent a lot of money on the printing for the previous attempt that will not be used. It was stress of how things aren't going well.
Observation
I've been noticing that we are stressed from poorly plan our story without thinking for our progress during the shoot. However at the end, we manage to made our live easier that we both are agreed to a story that we both manage to shoot.
Findings
We need to arranged our time well in order if we can possibly work without hesitating of the difficulty.
